What we collect: email, password hash, nickname, optional first/last name and phone number, location (city/district), avatar, listings and photos (EXIF metadata including GPS location is removed on upload), messages, ratings, reports, favourites, technical logs (IP address, browser, time of actions). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your account ID, name and email from that provider.
Why: to provide the service (your account, listings, messaging) — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); to keep the Site safe, prevent fraud and spam, and moderate content — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)); to show your phone number or email to other registered users — only if you enable this in your profile (consent, Art. 6(1)(a); you can withdraw it at any time).
Who can see what: your nickname, avatar, city, listings and ratings are public. Your phone and email are shown only to logged-in users and only if you allow it. Your name is never shown publicly. Moderators and administrators can see all account data.
Processors: hosting provider [HOSTING], email delivery provider [SMTP], Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection), Google/Facebook (only if you use their sign-in). We do not sell your data and do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies: only strictly necessary cookies (session, login, language, security). No analytics or advertising cookies.
Retention: as long as your account exists. Unconfirmed accounts are deleted after 14 days. Deleted listings' photos are removed within 30 days. Technical and audit logs are kept for up to 2 years.
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You can download your data and delete your account in your profile settings, or write to [EMAIL]. You may lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).
